Charlotte grew up in London and roamed the world for a spell after getting her degree in literature and philosophy. She taught English for many years and now lives, writes, and works as a copy editor in San Francisco. Besides playing with words, she's a fan of old movie theaters, bookstore cats, and walking in pretty places. Find her near a body of water or sneaking another baked treat from the kitchen.
